myLot Discussions| six sigma and knowledge management | | i would like to inform about six sigma and Knowledge Management.the main idea of six sigma to ensures that the creation process conforms to customer specifications, it's mean that six sigma try to improve quality or reduce defect.but knowledge management focuses on the creation of intellectual assets and capital or intangible asset like knowledge, culture, skill,etc.
Knowledge management and six sigma compliments each other in a variety ways.usually, this is seen from perspective of the customer. everything else revolves around this fundamental idea, so it's important to take idea or comprehensive knowledge from the other. and make tacit knowledge in the expert transfer to employee.
i think that is so good that combine this great concept, so we will receive culture or knowledge change and quality improvement in one project.

I would like share with u information about one of colleague who is young and dynamic but never has the habbit of sharing knowledge whatever he has learned during his tenure under me.
He joined as my sub-ordinate during 2005 and I trained him a lot in ABAP, now after 1 year he has learned a lot and learnt more than me, whenever I request to educate us or share his knowledge with u he gives some excuses, atleast one fine day he left the job without any information letting us in trouble.
Have u come accross such people in your life and what do u think about such characters. Please comment. | |
