| Is English necessary to excel in life | | Hi friends,I am from India and there is a deadly craze to speak in English. Moreover, english speakers even though with little talent grab job opportunities from those who are more talented, but can't speak english well. These guys are deprived of fine education due to their economic status and somehow manage to complete the education. I have seen these guys having good analytical skills, management skills, good logical thinking. Only drawback is that they are not good in english communication. I have found this only in India. In all other countries, they have their education in their respective mother tongues and still these countries are excelling well than India. Good example is of Japan, China, Germany etc. Its a puzzle why in India a good english speaking person is considered talented, while the opponent is deprived of a good job. Any answers? | |

| | Specific question on excel | | Ok, so I work with excel '07 quite a bit and I am fairly familiar with it, not a pro by any means mind you, and I know/understand nada about macros, lol. So here's the deal. You know when you have a hyper-linked email in the excel file that just reads as "email" in blue and underlined, but if you click on it it will open you set email system to send an email, right... So here is what I am trying to do: I have a list of about 6k of these hyper-linked emails, and what I need is to have the actual email displayed not the "email" hyper-linked, does this make any sense? No I have looked and looked and have not found a shortcut or function for doing this, but I feel that it would have been in very poor design for them not to have put this in somewhere and I am just not getting it, lol.
