| | Breaking Free Of The Constraints Placed By The Founding Fathers | | Well even though Barack Obama is the Constitutional law professor, a quote like this just proves I have more understanding of the Constitution than our professor does. In Obama’s America, we will finally be able to break free of the “constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution” and in so doing, achieve social justice through redistributive change. Before I am accused of taken the One out of context here is everything Obama said;If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court. I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be o.k. But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. Then during the process, something happened that you had to spent money on and the cost of attorney's fees are burning a hole in your pocket. | | What kind of movies do you like to watch? What are your favorite movies? | | I love watching action, specifically war picture or martial arts movies, comedies, and sports themed movies. I also love watching dramas but depending on the story of the movie. Some of my favorite movies of all time are Tears of the Sun, I Am Sam, Mr. Bean series, Banlieue 13 (District 13), Ong Bak, Coach Carter, In Pursuit of Happiness, Gladiator, Die Hard movie series, and Braveheart. Among the new movies, some that I really liked are Transformers, any Marvel Comics adapted movies such as Spiderman, X-Men trilogy, and Ironman. I really love watching movies a lot before but no longer now because of a lot of responsibilities and time constraints. However, if I can find the time, I really would watch a movie and most of the time, just at my place. Movies are really fun and relaxing and it's a great way to unwind. A person with lots of questions sees a world full of possibilities. However, a person who asks the right questions have the capability to make things happen.Asking questions has a way of engaging our minds like no other known stimulus. We can't resist answering them. However, the power of this psychological phenomenon is best appreciated if we realize that the person asking the questions has altered his perception. He has now a different reality than the others around him.We see a lot of moneymaking activities on the internet today. Have you stopped to ask yourself, what does the other person know that I don't? This is the starting point for an awakening. | | is it possible to love ur in laws as much as ur own parents? | | whenever i broach e topic of parents in law or for dat matter mother in law those married gal frens of mine will go OMG.... i suppose that mother in law vs daughter in law relationships could be one of e hardest to fathom and undoubtedly one of the hardest to manage relationship one will ever have to figure out i reckon... so is it really possible to love ur in laws as much as ur parents??i suppose this is a hard nut to crack..as much as we would love to show respect and love to the parents of the guy we said 'yes i do' to there are certainly many constraints which may make this a tall task for many... | |
| | Who made your wedding cake? | | Wedding preparation isn't easy. You have to think of so many things and make sure everything will do as planned. Having a wedding planner lessens the preparation stress but if you are in some budget constraints, you might want to do some effort to make the event memorable even with a low budget. It is possible to ask friends to prepare things for you. In my case, my friends and family helped a lot.It was a civil wedding so we didn't want to spend a lot on it. We were thinking that we will still have to spend for our church wedding soon so we just have to save our money to spend for the church wedding. However, we wanted our civil wedding to be nice also. My husband and I did some planning and our friends helped in the program and preparations.Our wedding cake was simple, showing our motiff: red, white and blue. We prepared the cake stand and bought the cake decors from a store which specializes in cake-making. The decorated cake stand was brought to the reception site by my family. We didn't bake the cake. We ordered some mini cakes from my favorite bakery. My cousins arranged the mini cakes in the decorated cake stand. We are so proud of our piece of art. I hope you will... | |
